We can also offer you this as a self-drive tour.

Fascinating, classic Namibia

Colourful sunsets, silence and unique landscapes. Cities that are old and modern simultaneously and a fascinating prehistoric history, as well as the life of animals in the wild will turn into a unique experience.

Upon your arrival at the Hosea Kutako International Airport, you will be met by our experienced local tour guide, who will take you to your hotel in Windhoek. After check-in at the accommodation and if time permits, you will be taken on a city tour which is rounded off by a visit to our township, Katutura.

Accommodation / Breakfast at Windhoek Luxury Suites. Incl. Airport Transfer / City Tour

After a hearty breakfast in a small coffee shop, which reminds us of a farmstall in Stellenbosch, Cape Town. Our journey starts from Windhoek through farmland rich in vegetation. We wind our way down one of the passes, down the Great Escarpment, into the Namib. The vegetation becomes less and less. Our accommodation is located in the magnificent scenery of the Namib. In the afternoon, we enjoy a ride through this beautiful landscape and absorb the earthy colours.

Dinner/ Accommodation/ Breakfast at the Namib Naukluft Lodge. Incl. Nature Drive

Early in the morning we start the trip to Sossusvlei and can experience the splendour of the awakening day. The highest dunes on earth can be found here. The apricot-coloured sand dunes rise into the blue sky 300 m high. After the impressions of the morning we visit the Sesriem Canyon, which suddenly forms a narrow gorge in the conglomerate. It seems almost unreal. Then we return to the lodge and enjoy a free afternoon.

Dinner/ Accommodation/ Breakfast at the Namib Naukluft Lodge or similar. Incl. Sossusvlei/ Sesriem Excursion

We drive through Solitaire, the Gaub- and the Kuisebpass and come across impressive rock formations. The Namib-Naukluft Park is the largest game park in Africa and was founded in 1907. The park’s present boundaries were established in 1978 by the merging of the Namib Desert Park, the Naukluft Mountain Zebra Park and parts of Diamond Area 1 and some other bits of surrounding government land. We travel through seemingly lifeless gravel plains that are full of interesting plant life and home to a rich world of small animals, we reach the important port of Walvis Bay to our night’s accommodation.

Dinner/ Accommodation/ Breakfast at the Oyster Box Guesthouse.

On today’s menu: Seals looking at you, so close that you might forget you are on a Kayak! The most amazing experience combining boat, kayak and 4×4! Start with a “first on the water” Planing Catamaran to Pelican Point Peninsula, land on an empty beach with your waiting guides, join the seals and wildlife from your kayak, enjoy the food and hot refreshments and then 4×4 your way back across the peninsula, lagoon and saltpans, add a dune and flamingos – and you’ll never forget your morning! Then we drive to Swakopmund, a colourful, very friendly, old and yet modern small town that serves as a holiday resort.

The afternoon is at leisure. Optional sightseeing flights or other activities can be arranged.

Accommodation/ Breakfast at the Swakopmund Plaza Hotel. Incl. Boat Tour

Early departure for Twyfelfontein, a World Heritage site that offers a great variety of rock carvings and rock engravings that we visit and try to decipher. On the way we pass Namibia’s highest mountain, the Brandberg, with an altitude of 2500m above sea level. Great rock formations made from granite inspire our view.

Dinner/ Accommodation/ Breakfast at the Twyfelfontein Adventure Camp or similar. Incl. Rock Engravings

Following the geology trail, we continue to our next destination the Etosha National Park and end the day with our first short game drive.

Dinner/ Accommodation/ Breakfast at the Toshari Lodge or similar. Incl. Game Drive

Today we make our way through the park to our next accommodation.

The Etosha National Park may be one of the most important nature conservation parks in Africa. In fact, an almost paradise-like life unfolds here on a total area of 22,270 km². Hundreds of animal species, very rare shrubs and trees, as well as impressive landforms combined to an ensemble of breath-taking beauty. The Etosha pan is the centre of the park. It is 129 km long and up to 72 km wide. Every year, rain turns the majestic plain into a meter-deep lake, which attracts numerous water birds for nesting.

The best time to visit is during the dry season from May to October: Then Huge herds of animals gather at dawn and dusk at the water holes and show the impressive wildlife in the African bush to the fascinated visitor. This day is all about game viewing.

Dinner/ Accommodation/ Breakfast at the Toshari Lodge. Incl. Game Drive

Our game drives in the Etosha National Park are scheduled for the entire day. We have enough time to spend at water holes to watch the animals comfortably and to listen to their sounds. It is often a constant coming and going of various game species. Not all types tolerate each other and it is exciting to watch.

Dinner/ Accommodation/ Breakfast at the King Nehale Lodge. Incl. Game Drive

With our hearts full of the impressions of the past days and after a good breakfast, we make our way back to Windhoek, via Outjo, Otjiwarongo und Okahandja. Arrival in the afternoon.

Incl. Airport Transfer
